Looks like a nice spot. I can imagine that you'll have a calm couple of days and will find some bird life to photo. Birdwatchers are usually quiet. I kind of am one. Only time I ever found other birdwatchers alarming was on a boat to see whooping cranes. The Houston Audubon Society also happened to be on board. Anyway, when a guy hollered, there's a red feather farthingale, everyone rushed to his side of the boat. Well, we didn't sink, so I'm alive to tell the tale. I did enjoy my visits to the Bosque. I suspect you will too.

I always enjoy my visit to the Bosque, it's an interesting place. Yeah, I'm planning on a calm and relaxing few days. the best time to view the birds, or any animals for that matter, is early morning or late afternoon. So that gives me all day to relax in the warm weather and make plans on relaxing the next day.

Yes there is a lot of peace and quiet around here, except when the Cranes fly over, they apparently talk to each other while they're flying so they make a bunch of croaking noises..... And did I mention the train? There's some train tracks about 100 yards away which gets used several times a day by a coal-train. It seems like no matter where you stay at an RV Park, there's always a train nearby piloted by an engineer that just loves to toot his horn.
