A Google Earth picture of the Escapees Saguaro co-op, Benson Arizona.
I made it safely to Benson Arizona and I'm now camping with full hookups at the Escapees RV Park called the Saguaro Co-Op. I haven't had hookups for almost 3 weeks and I think it's about time.
I'm using their one time only $50 for one week deal and it's a real bargain. I do have to pay for my electric use and it will be interesting to see how much paid electric I use with my solar panels helping in the daytime. It looks like while I'm here the temperatures will be in the 70s and 80s so I don't anticipate needing to run the air conditioner.
The folks that I've met so far at this park have been really nice to me, the guy that checked me in was very helpful, nice, and courteous. Then another guy led me to my site and helped me back in, Lord knows I need all the help I can get when backing up, and he was really nice, patient, and hardly laughed at all while watching me back up. After I got all set up a lady came by and welcomed me to the park, gave me a little gift, and answered all the questions that I had. Escapees prides itself on being friendly and welcoming so I would say that so far the Saguaro co-op has lived up to that expectation.
I've been kind of busy today so I think what I'm going to do is finish my story about my visit to the Pima Air and Space Museum tomorrow, and that will give me more time to run around here and take a few pictures to show everyone where I'm at.
