Sounds like your definition of boondocking is the only way to go in the near future....unless some people get tired of it.

Thank you Judith, I always appreciate a compliment. I love to get as close to flowers as I can, just to see which one of us wilts first.

I wonder if this current RV trend is going to be a bubble or not. I think to some extent it may be. Before moving to Texas for family issues I live in Oregon for 30 years. I hunted in the state and camped in almost every area. As we ventured further afield we traveled the entire west most enjoying forest service and state campgrounds. I have only stayed in commercial while necessary from point A to B. After retiring we would take 3-5 month trips out west while returning to Oregon and visiting historical sites. We liked to escape the Texas heat. After covering those area's extensively we want to explore the eastern half of the US. Making travel plans this summer to make what would likely be our last trip to the NW I learned that due to the current RV climate summer travel was almost out of the question without extensive planning and reservations. I think we may focus on the fall and spring times and hopefully we can find state parks or some boondocking as we head east. The great thing about RV ing is that it offers something for everyone and their interest. You've inspired me to take a winter trip to Southern Arizona and try some of those spots.

There's only a couple of things that will cause me to write a blog post about someone's comment. One is their comment asks questions that are interesting to me, but I do get a lot of those from different folks. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
