My Second night near Granby

Clicking the pics requires so little ambition, even I can do it.

The Forest Service campground I was in was a little more crowded than I liked it, and there was another Forest Service campground on another Lake, so I decided to go there and see what it looked like.

I like the looks of it, it was a lot less crowded and had several first come, first serve sites open at 10 a.m., which is when I got there, so I checked in and made myself at home.

Even though the rain had stopped, it was still a little cloudy, and at this altitude, the high temperatures were in the comfortable 70s.

I've decided that tonight will be my last night on the road, and I'll head back to Denver tomorrow morning. It appears the heatwave is over in Denver, so I'll be more comfortable when I get back there and be able to do some more things for the camper to prepare for my winter travels. Denver is only about an hour and a half drive from where I'm at now, so I should get back there before lunch.

Both grand-kids are in school all day now, so I won't be able to spend as much time with them as I have been. But they've got friends to play with at school, so they're better off there. I'm so lucky that I can spend as much time with them as I do.

My boondocking site at this Lake was on two levels.

My new campground. This is also a Forest Service campground. This campground was on a hill overlooking the Lake, and I liked it much better than the last one. It had both hook-up, and boondocking sites, I of course prefer boondocking.
