My visit to the Pima air and space Museum. Ugly airplane addition

as ugly airplanes go this one has to be near the top. I don't know how you could design an airplane any uglier than this. I know it wasn't designed to be pretty, it was designed to do one job for NASA and that was it. But good grief it's ugly, I'll bet the pilot wore a bag over his head Instead of a helmet

I went to the Pima Air and Space Museum this morning and spent about three hours walking around the place and three hours was about all I could take. I should've gotten there earlier because the last hour was getting really hot.

The smart thing to do, which is probably why didn't do it, is to go early when it's cool and look at the outside displays first, then when it starts to heat up go look at all the displays in the air-conditioned hangers. The common sense of that was somehow lost on me, But I had a good time nonetheless.

Fortunately the Air Force never adopted this abomination. And since I've never seen one anywhere else I have to assume they were all hunted down and killed before they could reproduce. But it does look like it's about to lay a disgustingly large egg that will be filled with little airplanes that look just like this.

I don't know what this is, or how it got here, but its not of this earth.

This isn't the ugliest airplane I've ever seen, but it looks like a baby that could grow into something really ugly.

This must be the scooter of airplanes, it's ugly and you think anyone would be ashamed to be seen flying around in it.
