Another beautiful day today in the 70s. Just because there are some clouds in the sky, even rain clouds, I still count that as a beautiful day because I like what it does for my pictures, and unless I'm very hot or very cold every day to me, is a beautiful day.

Yesterday I was downtown about dusk, so I took a couple of pictures of the old part of town when the lights were on. It was cloudy, and the weird thing is to my eyes, it still looked like daylight, and I could barely tell that the lights were on in the buildings, but the camera saw it as nighttime, so I thought the pictures came out pretty good considering it wasn't all that dark.

I like taking nighttime pictures, but my night vision is not all that great, so I try to stay off the roads if possible when it gets dark. But this time, it wasn't dark enough to bother me, and I was only 15 minutes from Storrie Lake, so I stayed a little later than I usually would.

I'm still doing a bit of cleaning on the Arctic Fox, but I take frequent breaks, so it doesn't become tedious. I feel that relaxing in my easy chair is the most critical part of cleaning because it gives me a chance to think about all the things that first appeared to need a thorough cleaning in the Arctic Fox. But after meditating on it determined that some things I thought were imperative actually can be put off till tomorrow.

 I have found things that I previously thought needed to be cleaned immediately but recently realized there is no real reason why any of these things couldn't be cleaned at a time somewhat beyond what most people would consider immediately. Surprisingly enough, it turns out that New Mexico might not even be the best State in which to clean something.

There's a lot of dirt and rocks in New Mexico; in fact, they're everywhere I look. So it makes little sense to clean something that's just going to get dirty again. So I'm considering putting off my cleaning until I get to a place that doesn't have as much dirt as New Mexico.

I tried southern Arizona, but there's a lot of sand there, and as far as cleaning goes, sand is just as bad as dirt. So I'm going to keep looking for a place that doesn't have any sand or dirt so I can give the Arctic Fox a thorough cleaning.... I don't think the North Pole has any sand or dirt; I wonder if there's good boondocking there.

"old Town," I'm not too sure about that blue building. Usually the building codes in a historic town are very strict and there are limits and rules as to what you can and can't do to a building. The the towns historic preservation folks must've had their eyes closed when they approved that paint job.
