Yet again I'm using my remarks to Larry's comment this morning as a blog post for today, and it looks like the more boring my life gets the more I will use other people's ideas to have something to write about.



With everything available to RVers, from car camping to humongous class "A" motorhomes, it's easy to see RVers don't agree on how to live and travel or enjoy the RV lifestyle.

I, for instance, have RVed in a van, several fifth wheels, a pop-up truck camper, and a hard-side truck camper. Technically, you could call my motorcycles with a tiny tent and a sleeping bag bungee corded on the back a kind of RV. So, as the "Rolling Stones" once famously said, even " I can't get no satisfaction."

So those of us who write a blog often have so little to say that we sometimes write as if we know what everyone should be RVing in.  And it just so happens that the perfect RV is what we bloggers are RVing in at the moment. I try not to do that, but I can see how it might sound that way.

Remember that about two years ago, a 30-foot fifth wheel was my perfect RV, and now I'm living in a truck camper..... That illustrates how little I know about my own lifestyle, much less someone else's.

Your right, Larry, most RVers pay little or no attention to the safety issues of an RV. I believe a lot of RV buyers think they're just as safe as a car, but as you correctly point out, they're not safety tested at all.

No, Larry, I had not heard about what was going on in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but being familiar with the particular political party that runs the state, I'm not the least bit surprised.

I believe New Mexico is run by the political party that espoused open borders where violent MS-13 gang members were welcomed into our country. Those very gang members are now in the process of taking over the drug sales in America from the previous street gangs as forcefully as possible, shooting anyone in their way, causing a major spike in crime, and the Federal government is trying to find ways to cover up the huge mistake they've made when they opened the borders, while at the same time allowing it to continue.

And while the border disaster Is going on, this particular political party decided cops were the problem, especially in America's cities, and the police departments were de-funded and re-imagined, even though almost everyone could see that crime was Increasing.

The cities are now suffering from a lack of police presence and district attorneys that refuse to enforce the laws, then pass new gun laws designed to circumvent the Constitution, preventing honest citizens from defending themselves from these criminal elements, leaving citizens and businesses with no power whatsoever to curtail the street gangs who I have been given carte blanche to do whatever they want with little or no repercussions.

 At the same time, the big city mayors are complaining about the devastation that's being wrought by their own political party . And instead of apologizing for their stupidity, and at least trying to stop  the damage from continuing, there demanding that America's freedoms and rights be taken away to cover for their own ineptitude that all the sane people predicted was going to happen years ago.

I'm old enough to remember when there was very little difference between the two parties; both wanted what was best for America, but they disagreed on how to achieve it. But this is different. One political party is out to tear this country apart and build it back into something that in no way resembles the free country we used to live in, and the American people are so brainwashed that they're letting it happen. Most old people can see it because they lived when America was mostly free, but no one listens to old people.

The kids are playing soccer in this large recreation area that has room for many soccer fields, and it was pretty busy this Saturday morning. One thing you can say about the Denver area is, they have lots of parks and places for people to play.

The soccer coach strikes me as the kind of guy that takes no nonsense and doesn't accept whining for any reason even from a 9-year-old....and that's just what most kids need.

The age of the players is 9 and 10. And since my grandson, on the right, won't be 9 until next week he is the youngest member of the team.

After dealing with all the kids for an hour the referee was sobbing uncontrollably....and who can blame him.

They run this way, and they run that way, then they turn around and run this way again...soccer has never been a favorite sport of mine, there's too much running and not enough scoring. I have to admit it is more exciting than watching golf..... But then what isn't?
