Another beautiful Fall day today, highs in the high 70s, lows in the mid-40s, just a great day all around. But starting tomorrow, a cold front will come through for the next three days, with highs in the high 50s and lows in the mid-30s. This is to be expected, of course, and one day soon there will be snow in the forecast.

The days are still warm enough that I don't have to turn on my furnace in the camper while sitting around at night, but I do have to run it for about half an hour when I wake up in the morning to take the chill off the camper. This reminds me I need to finish up my propane project, moving my propane tank to a lower position in the Lance. All I need to do is run my new propane hose from the old position to the new position, which I can easily do after drilling one hole; I just need to overcome my procrastination and get it done.

I walked around the neighborhood for a little while this morning, mostly looking for Halloween decorations and the leaves changing on the trees. I found that it must be too early for Halloween decorations  since I only saw one house with anything going on. And the trees have barely started changing; there is definitely nothing to look at so far.

Yesterday afternoon, my daughter went to a three-day job-related conference at one of the ski areas, Keystone I believe. Even though it's a job-related conference, there's still a lot of fun things going on that she's looking forward to. But there won't be any skiing since Keystone has only been making snow for a short while, and I'm sure more is needed to ski on. So, with my daughter gone and my son-in-law working every day, I will be helping out with the after school babysitting.
