A beautiful day today, low 70s, low humidity, not a cloud in the sky, in other words a great day for doing anything, or nothing at all.... I did a little of both.

I went to Home Depot this morning and bought a funnel that I need to put some water in my water tank. I should've filled up my water tank when I got here and was still hitched up but it slipped my mind. I have found that just about everything slips my mind because my mind has become very slippery nowadays, things slide in and slide right back out again without me even realizing they were ever there.

But getting back to the funnel, which almost slipped my mind, I already have a funnel that I use for this specific purpose but I left it in the little Bronco pop-up camper where it serves the same purpose but isn't doing me much good at the moment.

I have access to all the water I want here at the campground I just can't get the trailer to it without hooking up and pulling it over there which is more effort than I feel like expending today. So the simplest thing is to take my empty 5 gallon Walmart water container, I carry with me just for such occasions, fill it up and bring it back to the Arctic Fox and dump it into the water tank through the opening you normally fill with a hose. But that's kind of hard to do because it's up sorta high on the Arctic Fox, and a normal shaped funnel doesn't work very well.

All of that sounds like a whole lot of work for somebody as lazy as I am so I'm thinking what I will do, since being a boondocker I do this water shuffle every once in a while, is try and find the spare water pump I carry with me, put hoses on the intake and discharge side of the pump, put the intake hose in the 5 gallon water container, the discharge hose in the water-fill port on the Arctic Fox, hook the pump into some 12 volt on the truck, and sit on the tailgate watching the miracle of electricity in action.... I don't know how I survived before I became this lazy.
