Arizona sunrise

I spent the morning walking around Ben Avery's gun range, watching the various events, and taking a few snapshots along the way. I was planning on going to Walmart while I was here, but my feet are tired of walking, so despite the incredibly beautiful day, perfect for watching the cowboy action shooters, I lit out for my home on the range after lunch.

I'm still Boondocked two or three miles up the road from Ben Avery, where there are some huge parcels of Arizona trust lands, and it is clearly marked as such on the dirt road coming into the trust property. Many people are boondocking here, probably because of the shopping and restaurants about 4 miles down the road... And hardware stores,  Home Depot,  is about 3 miles away.

This is all I have to say for today; after returning home, I just relaxed for the rest of the day and let my feet recuperate. I'm considering going to Walmart tomorrow, but I'll have to ask my feet if that's okay when I get up in the morning.

The competitor on the right has a cart that not only carries his gun stuff around, it also acts as a chair.... I sure could have used one of those today.

When this lady came sashaying down the street, and before she got close to me, I thought she had a chicken sitting on her head, but I was wrong.

Indian village. It's hard to have cowboys without Indians, they just seem to go together.

A problem with being a cowboy action shooter is you can dress for the competition and still look like you're living under a bridge.

Even though I'm out of the gun business and gun hobby, I still know something about guns and their accessories but this picture has me totally Confounded, confused and concerned.

This man... woman... I don't want to judge. Has what appears to my experienced eye to be a computer fan attached to one of the holsters.

Maybe computer fans are the hot set up for gunslingers but I'm pretty sure they weren't back in the 1800s, so I can't even offer a guess as to what It's purpose is.

This lady came away from her turn to shoot, with a big smile and lots of celebration. I don't know if she won anything, but she sure looked like she did, and according to the belt buckles on her gun belt she's no stranger to winning.
