If there's only one thing you need know about Texans it's this, they love America, and they love Texas and criticizing either one will get you closer to a muddy cowboy boot than you ever wanted to be.
Today has been another sit around and take it easy kind of day. I went to a grocery store this morning in Hondo and instead of going to Walmart I went to an H.E.B grocery store to see if I could find something different to eat. Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving I'm still not really sure what I want to do about Thanksgiving dinner.
The escapees RV Park is having a big Thanksgiving dinner at the clubhouse tomorrow for everyone , but I'm not really sure yet if I want to go or not. Sometimes I don't really feel like being around a lot of people, especially if I haven't been around a lot of people for a while. So if I decide not to go I at least have a special dinner that I can make for myself on Thanksgiving.
I'm also trying to make up my mind if I want to make a trip up to San Antonio one day before I leave the Escapees RV Park. It's only 30 or 40 miles away, and there are some neat things to see in town, like the Alamo, and the Riverwalk. But I saw the Alamo a long time ago, no not when Davy Crockett was there I'm not that old, but I doubt it's changed very much. both the Alamo and the Riverwalk are very touristy. So between that and not looking forward to driving in a bunch of traffic I'm not sure if I will make the trip over there or not.
If you want to have a hookup site you will be in a site like this. Somebody owns this site but they rent it out while they're gone.
This is the office where you check into the Lone Star Corral
Some folks like a lot of things sitting around in the yard.... Looks like way too much work to me
Now this is what I would do.... This is the best kind of yard for a lazy man like me.
