I'm so poor I can't even afford to click the pics.
You won't be embarrassed to show up in this Lamborghini no matter where you're going. Although the insurance policy probably costs half what the car is worth, you may have to send it back to Italy for an oil change, and a Carjacker will more than likely kill you just to be able to sit in the seat for five minutes until the police get there.
My son-in-law, grandson, and myself went to a car dealer just to look at cars and kick some tires. It was just us guys so all the girls had to stay home. And since I haven't been doing anything interesting I just took some pictures of the cars, and these pictures will have to suffice as my blog post for the day.
The Rolls-Royce is one of the finest cars known to man. No matter where you're going you will arrive in luxury.... Flat broke, but in luxury.
My grandson was the only one allowed to sit in one of these super expensive cars. I figured it was because the salesman believed that he was the only one in the family that had the future potential to make enough money to buy one of these cars.
These McLarens are beautiful cars, and the backend looks more like a spaceship than a car. But I have no desire to own one. In fact for a lot of years the only thing I've cared to own is a pickup truck. And now because of my full-time lifestyle I'm pretty much stuck with a pickup truck throughout eternity.
Maybe one day I'll be able to afford a Maserati logo, not the car, just the logo.... But I doubt it.
They had Maserati baseball caps for sale and I wanted to buy one.... but I couldn't afford the payments.
This Ford GT 40 is absolutely beautiful. But if I set the Lance camper on top of it, it probably wouldn't be able to go anywhere, and going somewhere is the most important thing in my life now days.
I know one of these switches operates the passenger ejection seat, and the other one activates the driver ejection seat..... Wish I could remember which is which, because that could be an important bit of information if I ever decide to become a spy like James Bond.
I've loved cars all my life. I've bought them, sold them, repaired them, customized them, and the closest I ever came was owning one like this was a 454 Corvette. so it seems odd for to me to say that I wouldn't own a car like this even if you gave it to me,
Cars like this are similar to an expensive thoroughbred racehorse, it takes an expert to get the most out of it, their hard to handle, expensive to maintain, will suddenly up and kill you if you make a mistake, and unending worry that something will happen to it, and just like a boat or an RV, you won't use it nearly as much as you think you will.... Now if somebody wanted to give me a 1 ton truck, that would be different.
There were so many beautiful cars there, I just had to keep telling myself "you don't want one, and you don't need one. " I've spent too much time and effort simplifying my life than to start complicating it again, and owning a car like this Ferrari would definitely complicate it.
These are all the folks at the car dealership that need to be thanked for letting me get anywhere near any of these cars, especially the way I look...... but I did leave my "will work for food sign" in my son-in-law's car before we went in.
