I did a lot of running around yesterday, so I took it easy and mostly just relaxed today. I looked around the boondocking area today and figure that only three other RVs have been here longer than I have, and I take that as a sign I need to be moving on.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going to Laughlin, Nevada, which is only about 70 miles away. It's mostly two-lane roads; it will take me about an hour and a half to get there pulling the Arctic Fox. I'm sure I won't be leaving tomorrow because I'm not in the mood to get packed up at the moment, but anytime after that is a possibility.

I think it's been two years since I was in Laughlin, and I was surprised to see some of the changes last time I was there. The Pioneer casino, which had always been one of my favorite places because of its old Western town motif, was looking tired, worn, and not long for this world. And the Colorado Belle next door, which looked like a riverboat, was also looking pretty shabby, and looking on the Internet, it appears it's now closed.

That seems to be the way gambling towns work. If a property is not making money, they tear it down and put up a better property. And it seems like the "cutesy" joints that have a building based on a theme don't make as much money in the long run. They get torn down, and a new joint is built that has a theme, but the buildings pretty much all look the same because they're more efficient.

But anyway, I'm looking forward to a new view. I'm especially looking forward to not having to correct, Lake have a Sue, Lake have assumed, Lake have is you, Lake have a shoe, and every other term my dictation software can come up with without correctly writing Lake Havasu.

At both ends of the London Bridge, this is the quickest way to get up and down from the deck of the bridge to the river.

Due to poor planning on my part I had to make this trip four times yesterday.

E-Bikes are the way to go, especially if you're a tourist. You can get to more places quicker, and more comfortably than having to  pedal.

These things are getting better and better, and cheaper and cheaper. I predict this is what kids are gonna want for Christmas, not the old-fashioned, uncool, pedal bicycles of the past.

This is just  what it looks like. Either a boat that's a bar, or a bar that's a boat. Either way you end up in the same condition when you finally make it back to shore. I don't think that contraption could carry enough alcohol to get me  on it in rough water.

Who in their right mind wouldn't want a cute little boat named Rubba Duck. I would say by its light weight, and pretty big motor this thing will probably do 50 miles an hour, or 43 knots in nautical lingo.

Every tourist town needs at least one blue haired busker to keep the tourists entertained.

This guy reminded me of Shaggy in the Scooby Doo cartoon, but Shaggy didn't have blue hair.
