Procrastination is not a problem, it gets me out of a lot of work

Last nights sunset at the Pima County Fairgrounds. Nothing spectacular, just pretty and peaceful.

A drier and less cloudy day, but it was still chilly. I moved over to the paved boondocking area this morning. The fairground powers that be suggested that I was probably going to have to move when the big barrel race comes to town the weekend after this one, so I decided with all the mud in the dirt boondocking area, I would move over to this drier location now, so I didn't get any more mud in the camper than necessary. And there's nobody over here except me, so that's a plus. The only downside is that I'm farther from the horse arena than before, and just getting there will require more walking.

I'm driving a lot less than I normally do. Before, if I were bored, I would drive somewhere, but with the price of diesel fuel still around five dollars a gallon, I really don't feel like spending that kind of money to kill time. Plus, my truck is a 2007, with a little over 200,000 miles on it, and instead of putting the poor thing out to pasture and letting it live its senior years, just running to the grocery store and back. I've loaded 2000 pounds on its back, and making it work harder than it had to when it was new.

I've still got some projects I want to do to the Lance, and I keep putting them off with the excuse that "I'll do those projects at my next location," I've been saying that since I started this trip. Before, I was saying it was too chilly to get out and do anything, but now I'm saying it's too wet and chilly to do anything. I know it's laziness, and as soon as I scrape together enough ambition to accomplish something, my procrastination kicks in, and I put it off till I get to the next location.... One day I've got to do something about this procrastination problem I have.... Maybe when I get to my next location.

I didn't live packed together like sardines before I retired, why should I live that way after I retired. I realize I'm not normal, if I were normal everybody would be where I'm at and the main campground would be almost empty.

So I'm glad normal people require full hookups most of the time, it leaves more empty space for me to enjoy.
