One of the wonderful yet seldom mentioned things about boondocking is, I get to choose what my view is going to be. Thank you for the information Judith. Alice certainly is a pretty tree no matter which state she calls home.

Just curious, how far away from other humans do you like to be when boondocking? 1000 yards seems like a good minimum, but harder to achieve these days.

Nice to hear from you KennyD. The amount of empty space I like to have around me is highly dependent upon my neighbors, my mood, my neighbors, my patience, my neighbors, and my neighbors

For a lot of those folks out there these days, 1000 yards seems about right to me.

Yeah your right, there's a lot of people that just don't understand how you're supposed to act when camping. The folks that camp a lot have learned most of the unwritten rules of camping, even though they don't always follow them, but the people that only camp every once in a while don't get a chance to learn the unwritten rules of camping, partly because there unwritten.

Intransitive, huh? I had to look it up. You educated me about something different today. Not that I don't like the things you normally educate me about. Or about which you educate me if you want to be proper but sound stupid. :)

I have been blessed, or cursed as the case may be with a plethora of useless information. And this has been to the detriment of things that may have been very useful to me.
