Another cloudy rainy day although today had more bits of sunshine poking through than yesterday. Like I've said before I like the clouds their less boring than the clear deep blue skies we normally get in the desert, and as long as I've got enough sunshine to charge up my batteries I'm fine with the clouds.
I keep meaning to change locations but so far between the not being able to figure out what part of Quartzsite I would like to move to, and sheer laziness, I'm still sitting right where I started.
On the way here from Wickenburg I couldn't believe how many flowers there were blooming next to the roads it was mostly yellow flowers and some purple flowers but there were bunches of them in a strip along both sides of the road. I've always noticed that plants seem to grow really well right next to the roads. I imagine it's from the rainwater running off the roads and giving those strips alongside the road more water than everyplace else gets.
With all of the rains were still having I'm more and more confident that its going to be a tremendous spring for the flowers, I sure hope so, that would be two years in a row of a Super-Bloom. If that's the case I need to figure out where I want to be around April and May.
the Creosote bushes around here are starting to bloom now, which could be the reason my allergies are beginning to bother me.
The Creosote Bush also known as Greasewood, has a pretty little flower when I can stop sneezing long enough to take a picture of it.
