I was going to go to town today and have one of my propane tanks refilled and run around a little bit but it turned out to be a very windy day, it was warm and sunny, but it was just very windy.
so I decided I would stay home and do something that would require little or no effort on my part and yet at the same time make me feel as though I was accomplishing something. Not everybody can pull that off, fact is it's taken years of practice before even I could manage it and, if I do say so myself, become an expert at it.
The first thing I'm considering is how I need to pack up and send back one of the monitors I bought for the rearview camera I just installed on the Arctic Fox. The first monitor that the Tadibrothers sent me would not do a split screen so I could see out of both cameras at the same time, I had to push a button and switch from camera to camera.
I called Tadibrothers and they agreed to send me a split screen monitor right away but they would charge me $100 for the monitor until I sent the first one back and then they would remove the charge. So now I need to work up the ambition to pack up the monitor and return it. But the last time I checked ambition was not forthcoming.
About this time of year I receive through the mail property tax bills from various counties where I own pieces of land. But for some strange reason I never seem to get my property tax bill from the taxing authority in Cochise County for the property I own in Tombstone Arizona. My other tax bills manage to get to me but not the one from the Cochise County Treasurer's office.
Last year I made a point of going to Bisbee Arizona which is the Cochise County seat, telling the tax assessor's office about this recurring problem. They made sure they had the right address and assured me everything would be okay. Soooo, the taxes are due next month and I still don't have a bill. Dealing in any way, with any form of government has always been a thorn in my side.
As you can see while relaxing in my easy chair I have now listed a couple of problems I need to tend to, made some mental notes on how to handle these problems, and made a decision to give these problems further study. Which means I accomplished something that required little or no effort on my part..... I have a special talent that has allowed me to achieve this degree of laziness, I wouldn't recommend just anyone attempting to do this.
Remember when.... People would retire and move someplace warm, and their dream was to live in a little pink mobile home.
Remember when.... People wanted to live in trailer parks because mobile homes were more affordable than houses and the fact that they depreciated faster than a coal miner's socks didn't matter.
Remember when.... Lots of trailer parks were built in warm parts of the country where the retirees wanted to spend their remaining years but the retirees soon found out they had more remaining years than their mobile homes did.
Remember when.... In the good old days if your mobile home needed some electricity you just climbed up a power pole and hooked it up yourself.... If there were any more wires up there you could use them for shade.
