rudely awakened

This was the scene outside my window at O dark 30 this morning. I don't know why fishermen have to get up this early the fish aren't even up yet.

I awoke this morning before the sun came up to what sounded like 100 contractor generators running right outside my window, and the first thing that entered my mind was a whole bunch of contractor generator salesman were having their sales convention right next door to me, and at the moment were having a who's contractor generator is the loudest contest.

But I had to put my gun away when I found out that unbeknownst to me they were having some kind of professional fishing tournament and 15 or 20 boats were revving up and ready to go. Had I known they were going to be doing this I would've been down at the docks taking pictures but since there was no time to get dressed I just stood outside the Arctic Fox in my slippers and pajamas and took a few long distance snapshots.

Watching these guys in their hundred thousand dollar go fast boats, wouldn't it be funny if somebody won the contest fishing from the shore.

The fishermen have to hang around near the docks until their number is called and then they can slowly head off.

Once their past the breakwater and the no wake zone then they can take off at their usual 90 mph.
