It's a little overcast today which is a good thing because its staying in the low 70s instead of the low 80s like yesterday. And despite the cloudiness my batteries were charged up just after lunch.
The crowds here at the Boulders OHV Staging area aren't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. I reckon there's about 10 or 12 RVs here, and almost every one is a toy hauler. And then about as many pickup trucks loaded with motorcycles, a quad, or pulling flatbed trailers full of various vehicles with the capability of being used to kill yourself in the desert.
But so far it's been a nice experience. The noise doesn't bother me and so far it hasn't been too dusty. Yesterday afternoon almost everyone had stopped riding by 5:30 so I've found it no worse overall than staying at an average RV Park, but I'd much rather be here because my nearest neighbors about 200 feet away and I'm able to putt around on my motorcycle without bothering anyone.
My homemade Styrofoam and duct tape motorcycle seat. This gives me a little hope that when I get the real seat, and cut about a foot off of the rear fender the little Beta will look something like a real motorcycle.
Overview of the area where I'm boondocking this is just a small piece of the whole BLM area.
