Sometimes the road calls and you just gotta go.

Sometimes clicking the pic's is the most exercise I get all week.

This large white bird skimming the waters of 11 mile reservoir where I was camping last week, faintly resembles a pelican. But is it?

With an overpowering urge for a new view, I filled up the truck with fuel this morning. Stopped by Safeway and bought all the ingredients I need to feed myself a few healthy meals, [canned soup and beer]. Turned on the little Bronco camper's refrigerator. Typed "anywhere" into my GPS's destination box. And settled into the Arctic Fox to wait for the weekend to be over so I could hit the road without too much local tourist traffic.

I don't know where I'm going and don't much care as long as it's high enough to drop the daytime temperatures 10 or 15°, and the night time temperatures require a blanket or two.

I don't know how long I'm going to stay, but it won't be long, two or three nights should be enough to get me out of the rut I'm in and hopefully end this lazy streak that has gone on far too long.

As usual, if you don't hear from me, it's because I'm on some godforsaken mountain somewhere that doesn't have any phone or Internet service. However, I'll still be writing my blog and will catch up with posting it when I get back to civilization.
