Sure is hot, must be global warming.... Or maybe just summer

It's too hot to find pics, it's too hot to take pics, it's even too hot to click pics, so Not many pics to click today.

I've installed the five solar panels on the Lance,  screwed and glued them to the roof, and all the wires are hooked up.

I know that doesn't look and sound like much of an accomplishment, but considering how hot it is, and me going up and down a ladder 50 times a day, and my rapid slide into geezerdom,  I feel like I'm doing pretty good.

Another hot day today, and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter.

I removed the television antenna from the roof of the Lance camper this morning, which gave me the room I needed to put the fifth and final solar panel where I wanted it on the Lance camper this morning. Looking at the remaining space on the roof, I could put two more 100-watt solar panels up there if I wanted to. But the weight my poor old truck has to carry around is the limiting factor, not the available space.

I sure could use a mini-vacation into the high country about now because it's not only hot in Denver, but I've been working outside in this heat instead of relaxing and not having to work up a sweat. I'm sure it will be worth it as soon as I get the Lance suitably outfitted for my long-term boondocking lifestyle, but right now it's pretty hot and miserable here in the flat-lands.
