Taking a break

Everyone deserves a break from pic clicking, so there's only two.

I took the day off today and didn't accomplish anything of note. The heat abated somewhat and only got into the 80s, and being Sunday; I figured it was a good time to relax and not think about the Lance for a change.

I did fill up a propane tank at $4.30 a gallon at the hardware store, which I have to do more often nowadays because I've semiretired my 10-gallon tanks that are in the Arctic Fox and use the normal 5-gallon tanks like the Lance uses for both the Arctic Fox and the Lance.

This means I have to fill up the Arctic Fox's 5-gallon tank about every two weeks, but the 5-gallon tanks are much easier to deal with. It's only a five-minute drive to the hardware store for propane, and since I don't travel in the Arctic Fox anymore, or at least have no intention of doing so, I standardize my tanks at 5 gallons which is the largest tank the Lance will hold.

Life would be better for me if the Lance had room for two 5 gallon propane tanks, so I would always had a full spare, but I've gotten used to carrying the spare tank in the trucks passenger seat floorboard, which is okay as long as I don't get a wreck.

Well, it appears that even though I've taken Sunday off from dealing with the Lance camper, it's still on my mind enough that's it's all I can write about, but that's what happens when you have a one-track mind.
