I'm going to take a break from writing today and just post a few pictures that I took last week. On a rare sunny day I went over to the West side of Padre Island where there were some fishing boats and old bait and tackle shops. Places like that right on the water for some reason are always ramshackle and falling apart which is kind of strange for waterfront property but everywhere I've been that's the way these areas always look. But I think that's the way bait and tackle stores next to the water are supposed to look. If they were all shiny and painted they wouldn't look like places fishermen would hang around.
