Tentative decisions

I had a busy day today of tentative decision-making. I seldom make an outright decision because I'm not very decisive, so I usually make tentative decisions, so I can't be held responsible for those decisions if I change them on down the road.

Before making tentative decisions today, the family and I went to my granddaughter's "graduation ceremony" from preschool this morning. It was a festive occasion celebrating leaving preschool behind and anticipating a huge step forward next Fall, right into kindergarten.

I remember kindergarten quite well; I should since I was there for three years. I cried for the first two years, which continued off and on through junior high school,  but finally, I got the hang of it and stopped eating the crayons, even though I still keep a crayon, or two stashed in a drawer in case I run out of food.

But getting back to my tentative decisions. I have tentatively decided that I'm going to sell the bronco and my beloved Arctic Fox and tentatively live in a Lance truck camper model 825. Now I don't have any particular Lance 825 that I'm interested in; in fact, the ones that fit my budget are hard to find in Colorado. But from all my Internet studies, the 825 seems to be the highest quality, with a reasonable weight truck camper that I've looked at. So that tentative decision is based on me being able to find one I can afford.

I still feel like the Bigfoots, and the Northern Lites are the highest quality truck campers, but they're just so heavy I think I would have to spend too much money modifying my truck so it could carry a camper that heavy.

I've taken a lot of stuff out of the bronco, and put it in storage, like the dining room table, so the first chance I get, I need to go to Divide and get all the stuff I've taken out of the bronco and put it back in. I also think I will take off three of the four solar panels since I don't think they will increase the value of the camper hardly at all. And I'm pretty sure I will need them to put on the new camper when I get one. After that, I will hang a for sale sign  on the bronco and hope somebody local will buy it without me having to pay for advertising.

Selling the Arctic Fox will be a much bigger and more complicated  deal, just getting all my stuff out of it will take a lot of time, and I have to have a place to live until I get another camper, once I've sold the bronco.

For anyone unfamiliar with how a preschool classroom looks, it looks something like this. It's all rather chaotic, but if you pack this many rug-rat sized kids into a small room, chaotic is probably the best you can hope for.

This event was supposed be held outside, but it was pretty chilly, cloudy, and looked like rain, so indoors was the only comfortable place to be.

My son-in-law was shocked; shocked I tell you, to see that his daughter won such a prestigious award for graduating from preschool.

This is my granddaughter and one of her preschool teachers. There's three of them in class because that's how many it takes to survive a school year of preschoolers. Two are teaching and one is watching their six.

My daughter,  my son-in-law,  and granddaughter at the graduation ceremony. My grandson is in school right next door to this classroom and he's having some big thing tomorrow morning.... And it looks like rain again tomorrow.
