Thanksgiving day

Well, I've already had my Thanksgiving lunch, but I've still got enough Key Lime Pie that it will last for a couple of days. It was a good Thanksgiving for me; even though it wasn't as good as being with my family, it was still pretty good since I've got so many things to be thankful for.

And I think probably the biggest thing I'm thankful for, besides my family, is this full-timing RV life I'm living. It allows me to travel around and be in places I really enjoy and spend a lot of time with my family during the summer when I live in Denver. So it's really a great life for someone like me that enjoys traveling, likes to have a new view every once in a while, and yet spends all summer living next door to the grandkids.

I didn't do much of anything today. But then again, I don't do much of anything every day. I was planning on taking a walk out into the desert early this morning but the wind was blowing so hard and it was so chilly that walking didn't sound like any fun, so I will probably try again tomorrow since the weather is supposed to be better.

I need to figure out what I will do when I decide to leave the Wickenburg, Congress area. I think that things are going to start getting more crowded now that Thanksgiving is over. I've heard that the Canadian border has opened up, and Canadians are streaming South. But I believe many RVing Americans might stay around their families for Thanksgiving, but when Thanksgiving is done, they might pack up and start heading for someplace warm.... And that might be where I'm at.

I've been wondering what to do about going to places further South of where I'm at now with all the illegals and the problems they're bringing with them, and I'm still not sure where it's safe to go.    

One of my favorite places to be, where I would normally spend several weeks during the winter, was Ajo, Arizona. But after reading this Internet article, I'm definitely not going to Ajo, and I'm beginning to wonder if anyplace south of Phoenix is going to be safe, especially for a boondocker like myself.

please remember I'm not against immigration, that is legal immigration, and I don't blame people for wanting to come to America, even though if you listen to the news media you would think nobody would want to live in America since were such terrible people.

But these illegals that are being allowed to pour across the border can become desperate even if there normally nice folks. They're hungry, there thirsty, they're scared, and sometimes desperate people do dangerous things.

And along with those ordinary people are drug smugglers, human traffickers, MS13 gang members, criminals running from the law in South America, Muslim terrorists, and evil people who are coming here just to take advantage of our welfare system. A welfare system, by the way, him that often puts illegal aliens ahead of the American citizen. As if we can afford to take care of everybody in the world, and America's not already deeply in debt.

This class "A" is an odd sight towing this giant cage around, it makes one wonder what does he put in this cage? It's too tall for cows, but not tall enough for giraffes. It might be hamsters but they could probably go through the holes in the wire. So I think it's monkeys. He probably brings a cage load of monkeys to Quartzsite, and sells them at the flea markets. I'll bet they fetch a pretty penny considering there's no wild monkeys in Quartzsite you can go out and catch.
