I woke up this morning and decided to move, not far, just down the road to La Posa South. I had become increasingly worried about my La Posa West campsite, when I pulled into it I wasn't paying attention and hadn't noticed that there was a very low area in front of my campsite, and I hadn't paid attention to this until I unhooked. The truck could go through it quite easily but it looks like the Arctic Fox was going to have problems getting through this area without dragging. So what this meant was for me to leave I was going to have to back up 30 or 40 feet and then turn on to the trail that I had come in on.
All of that didn't bother me until yesterday when a guy pulling a trailer pulled in behind me and got out and looked around like he was going to set up camp there. He decided otherwise and left but it made me worry that someone might Park there while I was gone and I wouldn't be able to back up the Arctic Fox to leave. So instead of worrying about it I hooked up, backed up, and drove away.
I actually like it over here at La Posa South better anyway, this is where I intended to camp when I bought my two week camping permit for the LTVA but went to La Posa West hoping that close to town I might pick up some free Wi-Fi signals but that didn't work out. It's quieter here, way less crowded, and I'm 3 miles closer to Yuma which is where I'm heading anyway.
