Ajo sunset. Since I've only got one more day in Ajo before I head to Picacho Peak State Park these are a few left over pictures that I need to use before there no longer relevant.
I've been hunting for wild flowers, taking pictures of wild flowers, going to areas where wild flowers are blooming, and it appears that now I'm paying the price.
Yesterday I started sneezing, my nose started running, my eyes started itching, and I realized that my allergies had hit me full force. Now I expected this so I've been spraying my nose with Flonase for the last few weeks hoping it would keep the symptoms away but it looks like the desert wild flowers are more powerful than Flonase.
Now this isn't the end of the world for me, thank goodness because it's pretty hard to get away from flowers in the Springtime no matter where you're at, it's just going to be annoying and inconvenient. I'll be putting a box of tissues in every room of the trailer, and a big box in the truck. Next time I'm near a Walmart I might buy some Claritin and use that along with my Flonase to see if that will help. I'm normally not a fan of mixing drugs and both of these used to be prescription only but now since their over-the-counter and I don't take any other medications I assume it will be okay.
The downside of this problem besides the obvious is that it's pretty hard to take a sharp picture while you're sneezing, so I suspect I will be posting some pretty blurry snapshots. The one benefit that I can think of is when people see you sneezing they assume you're sick and stay away, so if you add sneezing to the normal way I look I will appear to be a sick homeless bum. So maybe the people with a contractor generator and four barking dogs will just keep going when they see me outside.
