There's many reasons to click the pics... I just can't think of any of them right now.

Glad you have a place to roost for a while that suits you. I'm rather stunned by the La Paz numbers. In central Texas, my county of 30,000 currently has about 300 active cases, with only 13 in hospital. Total positives for this year is about 1900, with 45 deaths, almost half of which have occurred due to it's getting on the loose in nursing homes.. Your hospital numbers are staggering. Even with only 13 from this county, our region has no ICU beds available as of yesterday. So, yeah, lay low. You've got campfire archaeology to keep you busy.

I don't know what the average age is of people living in this County or if that even has anything to do with it, but it appears to me there are a whole lot of retired older folks living in this County. And that could explain the numbers. You mentioned the Bat flu was really bad when it got loose in the nursing homes. To me La Paz County looks like a nursing home.

Since yours is the second comment I've had now about the amount of Bat flu running around the county where I'm at I went back and checked the latest numbers again just to mae sure, I and the numbers I had were correct.

I would bet the population is close to double that with the "Winter Visitors" and going to increase over the next couple of months.

Yeah at least double. And probably considerably more than that when the Big Shows comes to town. I'm thinking of driving out to the LTVA's tomorrow and see what's going on, if I do I'll write about it in my blog.
