Unfortunately they will have plenty of folks willing to pay those prices. Despite the inflation and interest rates there still seems to be plenty of money out there for some. The changes in your and my lifestyle when it comes to RV'ing have been amazing since COVID. Change is inevitable but always hurts someone at some point IMHO. The wife and I have been evaluating what we are going to do regarding our RV travel in the future. Were not ready to hang up the keys but are hesitant to invest in a different rig. We would like to go smaller but in reading about the problems in manufacturing especially in the COVD yrs. we are holding off for now. Our current trailer is 32 ft. and is now 20 yrs old. It is in good shape and when I add up the additions done to it the cost to replace them on a different rig are sizable. Been looking at some Class C's but unsure. I don't know if and when the market will settle down but we are on hold for now.

Yeah Larry, there has always been "haves and have-nots" in America, but it seems like there's more have-nots than there used to be, and folks on their way to becoming have-nots seems to be pretty common.

Well, when you consider that it is Liberal Democrats running New Mexico, it should not surprise you they are screwing up the Annual Passes. After all, they screw up everything else they touch.

Yeah people tend to get what they vote for. In this case I hope the citizens of New Mexico can put a stop to this because it's going to change everything about New Mexico state parks so drastically that it looks like this plan was designed by Reserve America so they can make more money on reservations

A great find Larry. I just knew deep in my gut that Reserve America has something to do with all the problems and increasing costs going on. And the bigger and richer "Aspira" gets the more of our public land they will control. It's really sad, and there's nobody but our politicians to blame... Well; them and the people that vote for them.

I wonder if a lot of the people willing to pay those prices are too young or too new to RVing to remember when it was cheap?

I believe its both of those Linda, and maybe others. I've seen forums, especially forums related to expensive class A's, that if you mention spending the night at a Walmart parking lot you're derided as being "too cheap to pay for a campground" and the kind of campgrounds there talking about are usually a hundred dollars a night or more. So I guess there are people that want to prove to the world that they have enough money to throw away, but to me money is one of the issues but probably not the biggest issue. When it comes to staying at Walmart overnight I would say convenience is the most important thing to me.
