I re-uped yesterday for another week of boondocking here at the Pima County Fairgrounds so at least I know where I'll be until the first of May. I still hold faint hope that the New Mexico state parks will open up the first of May so I can start moseying back towards Colorado.

There's no real reason the New Mexico state parks should stay closed, the whole state only has about 2 million people in it and 1/4 of them live in Albuquerque so there's plenty of open space for folks to spread out. They haven't been hit very hard by the Bat flu. They've had 80 something deaths most of which came from just two areas of the state, the Albuquerque area, and the Navajo Nation. So I'm hoping the governor will come to her senses and at least open up the state parks.

I've apparently leveled off in my weight loss at about 16 pounds, I haven't lost any more weight, but I haven't gained anymore either. I didn't have to get on the scale to know this because I can easily tell I'm eating more than I was before. And that apparently coincides with me not worrying as much as I used to. So if I start putting on weight I'll have to find something to worry about.

I guess if I really needed to I could worry about doing my laundry because it's been a while. I've been putting it off since hanging around a laundry room even for a brief period of time sounds like the second easiest way of catching the Bat flu, the first easiest way would be getting a job as a Bat taster at the Wuhan China wet market.

I'm not completely out of clean clothes, I've got one sock I haven't worn yet, and some clean pajama bottoms that I'm saving for when I have to go to Walmart. Fortunately the government now recognizes sunshine as a way to sterilize things so I've put all my dirty underwear outside to be cleaned by the sun. I don't know if they're getting any cleaner but they are keeping anybody from moving into the boondocking area with me.

My biggest problems is I've run out of clean blue jeans, I thought I had plenty of jeans but over time I somehow either outgrew some of them or they got mixed in with some 10-year-old kids jeans and I ended up with blue jeans that I can't even come close to buttoning up. So I've been having to wear the same pair of jeans for so long that there's mounting evidence that my jeans are running around the living room at night while I'm asleep and eating my popcorn.
