Today dawned sunny, clear, and a frigid 8° outside. This is supposed to be the last day of temperatures that low, and tomorrow is predicted to shoot up to 50°, which will probably feel downright toasty by comparison.

I haven't been able to get much done because of the weather, but I'm not behind with anything since I don't do much of anything anyway. However, I have caught up on all of the relaxing I may have missed in the past and have been reminded in an enduring and unmistakable way why I live in a house with wheels.

I want to get the little Bronco camper out of the bed of the truck because I'm not seeing myself taking any mini-vacations in the near future.  But it looks like it's going to be a while before the snow and ice melts off and gets out of the way so I can put the little Bronco back in its winter home.

One of my 10-gallon propane tanks is empty, and I don't know how long the other one will last running the heaters as much as I am, so I need to get the empty one filled up as soon as I feel safe driving on icy roads.

Denver, just the other day, enacted another Bat flu policy limiting how many people can gather in one place and how many different family households can get together at one time. The policy is supposed to expire before the holidays, but I can't see that happening since the only gatherings that are happening now will be Halloween, so it looks like this is one of those temporary policies that will get extended till after New Year's. That seems to be the way things go nowadays.

It may be too early to tell, but so far the Arctic Fox has had no leaks from the melting ice. And no broken or leaking pipes, and these last three days are the coldest temperatures the Arctic Fox has ever been in. I feel blessed.

8° is actually a record cold temperatures for this time of year in Denver. But of course in the wintertime this temperature wouldn't even get noticed in less it had a minus in front of it.

If you look under the Arctic Fox you can see some bunny rabbit footprints. I feel sorry for the little critters that have to live in temperatures like this, in fact I feel sorry for ANYBODY that has to live in temperatures like this.
