Full moon over vulture peak, Boondocking Wickenburg Arizona
There's a full moon today so I took some full moon pictures. I like taking full moon pictures because normally the desert sky is featureless. Sometimes there's clouds but not all that often, so when I see some clouds I have to run out and take a picture, but mostly it's just clear and blue. So having a moon in the sky makes it a little more interesting than it normally is.
I was going to go into Wickenburg today but it's kind of windy and I wasn't really in the mood. I think tomorrow will be better because that will give me a chance to put my empty propane tank in the truck and get it filled when I am in town. The Arctic Fox has two 40 pound propane cylinders in it and each one has been lasting me about three weeks or a little more because I'm still running the heater an hour or two in the morning. I also need to go to the grocery store but there's nothing critical on my shopping list, and anyway looking at the prices in the Safeway depresses me so I grocery shop as little as possible.
