The cone of shame. The family dog had a minor outpatient "procedure" yesterday, although it wasn't minor to him.
Another day of R&R for me, I'm feeling better, but still not good enough to chase squirrels around the yard.
During my last mini-vacation I determined that the sofa in the little Bronco where I spend most of my time is not very comfortable, in fact its downright uncomfortable. Now there's not many places in the little Bronco where you can "be". You can be in the bed, you can be standing up on the floor, or you can be on the sofa, and that's pretty much it.
Since I'm only in bed at night that leaves standing on the floor or reclining on the sofa as the only logical places to spend time when I'm inside the little Bronco, so the sofa gets a lot of use and needs to be a lot more comfortable than it is.
I determined that the problem is the cheap foam cushions that make up the sofa are junk and easily compress down to nothing leaving me basically sitting on a piece of plywood. I'm certain this is because of the cheap foam and has absolutely nothing to do with my weight. Since my relaxing time is valuable to me I decided I needed some better foam to keep me from getting tired while I'm relaxing which will allow me to relax for longer periods of time without fatigue.
A quick visit to Amazon and a 6 foot long, 3 foot wide, 3 inches thick, piece of high density furniture foam was shipped out to me and is now laying in the living room waiting for me to feel like doing something with it.
It's taking up a lot of room in the Arctic Fox, so I definitely want to cut it to the right size and get it into the little Bronco before my next mini-vacation, which gives me yet another reason to get myself back into shape so I can head to the high country next week knowing I can relax for extended periods of time in complete comfort.
To avoid any further embarrassment to the poor critter about his "procedure" let's just say he can now use the men's room or the ladies room.
