I did a little laundry today, went to Walmart and bought a few groceries, made a trip to Wells Fargo to do a little banking that I can't do on the Internet, and went to Fremont motorsports in Florence to finish up the paperwork on my Yamaha WR 450.
They finally got my motorcycle finished but I'm leaving it there at the shop until the Highway Patrol comes and inspects it which will be sometime Thursday.
It seems like every day now I have something I have to do that relates to the government. whether it's a new drivers license, or tags for the trailer, or something to do with the motorcycle, I don't seem to be doing much of anything that's fun. In fact going to the zoo with my family is about the only thing I've done that's fun lately. I'm hopeful that by next week I can get back to enjoying my life.
The weather's been really nice here for the last few days, mid-80s, 60s at night and just a few fluffy clouds in the sky. That means that I'm at the right altitude for this time of year. But in another few weeks I'm going to need to get up into the foothills because it will get too hot down here in the flatland's.
Pueblo is a little less than 5000 feet in elevation which means summers are pretty warm. Up where I used to live in the foothills it was about 8700 feet in elevation and the temperatures will be comfortable until mid July. After that you need to be up in the mountains above 10,000 feet to stay cool in the daytime.
