The group of people on the canyon floor will give you a relative size of Seminole Canyon
Last night was a bad night. A bolt of lightning woke me up at 1230 and a storm kept me up for several hours until it went away. Being in Texas tornadoes are always on my mind when the weather is like that. I think this time was worse because I had no way of checking the weather and finding out what was going on. My Verizon doesn't work here, my radio only gets two Mexican stations, and I can't get on the Internet to get a weather report, and as for television, fagetaboutit. So I just had to lay there and hope that nothing bad was coming my way. Fortunately I survived but it brought back bad memories of two other similar nights that I've had while camping in Texas.
A bird with some mighty tough feet.
I spotted this tag at the visitor center and thought it was cute
Indian God brings on the rain. It rained for two days after this.
