Arctic Fox Boondocking.......For all of you mountain folk like myself that know your never supposed to park at the base of a hill where boulders can and do come rolling down and destroy you and everything else in its path, let me assure you that the base of that hill is actually a couple of hundred feet away and there are two deep dry washes between me and that hill. It only looks the way it does because I used a telephoto lens to take that picture which compresses the background and the foreground making them look very close together when they're actually not. Hollywood uses that trick all the time to make their stars look like they're very close to danger when in fact that oncoming train is very very far away.

I bought a clock that tells me the days of the week for those rare times when I actually need to know. :)

That sounds like my kind of clock. I think one of the many things that us retired folks have to adjust to is that time has very little meaning anymore. Before we retired we lived by the clock, time was everything, our lives revolved around the time of day. But when you retire you quickly find out that the only reason you need to know the time is so you don't miss your TV shows, you're not late for your doctors appointments, and your early enough to the get the early bird special at Denny's.
