The world's cutest picture

Clicking the pics is something to look forward to..... Sometimes.

Peewee barrel racer's dad giving some last-minute advice, and encouragement.

Not knowing all the barrel racing rules, I'm not sure how it works but it seems like these very young barrel racers can be either male or female. And these peewee racers seem to be about half-and-half male and female. Personally I believe this is one of those sports where males and females should be able to compete equally. It seems to me that the speed, and acceleration of the horse has more to do with who has the fastest times not who is sitting in the saddle if you compare skill level to equal skill level.

Not much going on today, I wandered around the fairgrounds a little bit, and took a few pictures. I also straightened up some of the stuff in the storage boxes that reside in the back of the truck where the backseat used to be.

But all in all I didn't do much of anything today which feels good after my busy weekend, and an even busier weekend in three or four more days.

I'll be leaving the Pima County Fairgrounds February first and heading to Tombstone Arizona where I will spend a few days boondocking at the towns only boondocking RV Park, and when I feel like it I will head down to Whitewater Draw to spend a few days with the Sandhill cranes that spend the winter there.

I'm looking forward to seeing the cranes again. Its such a great place to be, and an unbelievable place to take pictures of the birds, my only complaint is everyone is limited to only three days of boondocking there, which is probably why I visited Whitewater Draw twice last year.

This peewee racer is showing the horse whose boss.

This is a Dodge ram camper van built by Sportsmobile that has a pop-up top. It confused me at first because I didn't see any hold-down clamps for the top on the outside of the van so they must be on the inside

This is the young peewee racer that got bucked off on Sunday. You can see she's already lost her stirrup and her seat. I missed the actual buckoff, bad camera work on my part.

Here she is a couple seconds later, she wasn't hurt at all, partially because the floor of the arena is especially prepared and softened up just for this eventuality. But it must've scared her parents to death.

Her parents did exactly what horse people would normally do, even though she was crying they put her back on the horse and made her and the horse walk around a couple barrels... That took a lot of nerve for everyone concerned.

It scared me because the horse was acting skittish when they put her back on him, I was afraid he was going to start bucking again. But they both made it back without anymore excitement

I don't know if it's the cutest picture in the world but its the cutest thing I ever saw. Her barrel racing times were measured on a calendar instead of a stopwatch. But her cuteness level was off the charts and unmatched by anyone else at the event.
