there's a few things in life that actually motivate me.

I animated this picture I took last summer when I was in Montana. This is an RV Park I boondocked at a couple of nights.....wait for it.

It's still pretty chilly here at night, usually in the mid-40s and in the 70s for a high during the day. But like I've said before in Colorado that high temperature is only for a couple of hours, most of the day is in the 60s.

October is almost upon me and near the end of October will mark the beginning of the fourth year that I've been full timing. The time is flying by so quickly it's hard to believe I've been living in the Arctic Fox for three years. I know I say that every year about this time because every year it amazes me how fast time goes by when you enjoy what you're doing.

I haven't seen any reasons yet why I would stop living the way I'm living simply because I can't think of a better way to live. The freedom to come and go as I please with no time limits and no schedules, the ability to live where I want for as long as I want, my movements dictated not by time but by desire.... and of course the weather. If you think about it only homeless bums, the wealthy, and us full timers, get to live that way.

I can't believe I'm sitting here this late in the season and still don't know where I'll be heading within a couple of weeks. Normally by now I've got a rough idea where I'm going to spend the winter but right now I still have no idea if I'm heading southeast or southwest.

When I'm traveling during the winter I like not knowing where I'm going and making up my mind at the last minute, because to me that's part of the freedom of this lifestyle. But generally I make up my mind what part of the country I'm going to spend the winter in long before now, sometimes even before my winter travels are over, but this year not so much.

The only thing I can think of that may be causing this conundrum is that this year there's no place that I would really really love to go, and there's no place that I really really don't want to go, and I'm too lazy to take the time to figure it out.

But figure it out I will, because Tuesday after next there's snow in the forecast and there's nothing like freezing temperatures and some white stuff on the ground to shake me out of my lazy doldrums and get me pointed in a southerly direction.
