I wanted to take this opportunity to recommend a new blog to everyone. It's not actually a new blog, it's a blog that's changing it's theme from birds and squirrels and things like that to RVing, which is something were all interested in. Now there's nothing wrong with birds and squirrels, fact is I consider some of them quite tasty, but I had rather read about someone's transition to becoming an RVer than the lives of various rodents.
The blogs creator Tim Barnes purportedly has a college education, but I don't think we should hold it against him....Yet. He has what appears to be a real job with an actual income and is considering throwing all that away and becoming a full-time RVer just because he doesn't want to work till he's 85 years old like you're supposed to.
I s̶u̶c̶k̶e̶r̶e̶d̶, b̶a̶m̶b̶o̶o̶z̶l̶e̶d̶, talked him into buying a brand-new Arctic Fox 27 – 5L to live in as a full timer, and get this, a brand-new GMC truck to pull it with instead of a seasoned, well broken in, 11-year-old truck like I drive.
But despite all that so far I'm really liking what I'm reading on his blog, it's well done, interesting, to the point, and makes me want to return to read his next post. In other words totally unlike my blog in every respect.
in the future I will be very interested in reading about all of the angst, trepidation and self-loathing, that goes into throwing away a perfectly normal life to become a wandering bum whose only home is the highway... Wait a minute that's my life and I'm still writing about it.
So I think everyone should visit Tim's website, which is https://naturephotojournal.com/ after all he may be your neighbor one day. And if nothing else it's always fun to watch a perfectly sane individual throw his life over a cliff then jump in after it hoping to salvage what's left scattered on the rocks below......... Wait a minute that was my first blog post.... Nevermind.
A neighbor walking his cat. I think this photograph dramatizes the depths to which a man's life can sink, not the guy walking the cat, at least he's got a cat. I'm talking about the guy that has nothing better to do with his life than take a picture of a man walking a cat.
