This started out as an answer to a comment by Don, but ended up being my blog post for the day3/27/2021 Clicking the pics is part of my exercise regime. It's low impact, doesn't take up much space in the RV, and is safe at any age. Boondocking sunrise Quartzsite Arizona.

It may be hard to find a light camper with the quality of a Arctic Fox. Might be a good idea to store the 27-5L and try the camper for a winter. I was going ask about the easy chair also.

Yeah I agree, I think there would be very few slide in truck campers that have the quality of the Arctic Fox, and yet those slide in campers cost as much or more than the Arctic Fox.

I think the operative word in your suggestion is "slide." Which is a word often heard in Denver this time of year. The weather in Denver is getting better but there's still snow in the forecast and night time temperatures are often below or right at freezing which would mean running my furnace all night. So as much as I value your expertise in such matters I will slightly modify your motto to.... "Do it when it warms up."

In a van, the front seats sometimes swivel to become comfortable seating when parked. In mine, I put in a counter top with no cupboard below it to use as a desk then bought a real office chair to sit in. I bungied it under the desk for travel.

Those are good ideas. We human beings are really good at solving problems.... When we have to. And that's why ideas from people like you that have had to live in a small space, like a van, are so good. You've already solved problems that I don't even know I've got yet.
