On the internet today was the news about the South LLano River at Junction Texas getting way over its banks. It washed away the Commercial RV Park that was by the truss bridge there in town. I stayed at it for two weeks once. The free camping at the city park area was under about 6-8 feet of raging flood water in the pictures.

It saddens me to hear that. I spent three days boondocked beside the river at the city Park when I was in Texas and enjoyed every minute of it. My biggest memory was how friendly the Texans that I met were, the stray cats living in the riprap on the riverbank and the kitten that I almost adopted. I hope everyone had a chance to get out of there before it was too late.
