Ah, the bronco looks homey, with soft warm lights glowing in the dusk. Quite a while back, I read that, according to an antiques expert, dust can actually act as a preservative on the patina of furniture, etc. So I followed that theory. ( Now that I'm old and lazy and stove up, a lovely young woman comes to clean my house every two weeks. I guess the patina has just gone downhill.) .Anyway, rather than washing and waxing the bronco, you can just think of it as preserving the patina.

Judith, you're preaching to the choir about patinas. I'm a firm believer in patinas, and try to preserve my patinas at every opportunity. Since RVs are not your area of expertise, I will explain to you, for your personal edification, a bit of vocabulary that us full-timers use.

I think you see more younger people parked on the beach because they haven't had as many years to get persnickety as we have.

Yes it takes years to build up the amount of persnicketiness that I possess. But as persnickety as I am, and for as long as I've been persnickety, I can honestly say there's only one thing that actually bothers me... People.
