Cicking the pics can be a momentous event, or more than likely a waste of a few seconds out of your life.

Not even a hint of doubt in my mind I would have the jacks stay on. Among the things I first thought of is how they could help if you had a flat and had to change it. The camper jacks would sure help the normal truck jack when lifting the rig for a flat tire change,

You're right Barney I don't think there's any chance that my regular truck Jack would lift a rear tire, and maybe not even a front one. But I do have a 5 ton hydraulic jack that I removed from the Arctic Fox and placed in the truck.

I understand your weight dilema. How much is your set up over weight? My experience over the years the weight capacity is limited by some part of the truck like tires, axles and such. On some older rigs that can be mitigated somewhat by going to a different tire or switching axles. It doesn't change the ratings for the rest of the vehicle. I once had a 70's Ford F-150 and wanted to haul a TC. A one ton rear axle and spring package fit the truck and I converted it along with upgraded tires. Hauled the TC just fine. I got stopped by the Oregon State Police while headed to hunting camp. He checked things out and I left him scratching his head. Not sure one would get away with that

As is often the case Larry I started writing a response to your comment and in no time at all had something that resembled a blog post instead of a comment response. And since I couldn't think of anything to write about today anyway I'm going to call it a blog post and you will see my responses this afternoon.
