Jumping over flowers? If they were jumping over rattlesnakes that horse would jump a lot higher.

It looks like this will be the last day to get into the 70s for a couple of days. After that, the highs are supposed to be in the high 50s for two days before warming up. And by the weekend, it's supposed to be pushing 80° again.

Like I mentioned to Barney the old fat man in his comment the other day, I had the urge to make a video of the Sandhill Cranes at Whitewater draw while I was there but never got around to it because of the cold snap that drove me out of town. But not only had I never taken any video with my Canon R5,  what little I did know about taking video I had mostly forgotten.

 Now that I'm back at the Pima County Fairgrounds, and with more Hunter Jumper riding action coming up, that will give me some time to practice shooting video, so maybe I can do a better job of it when I get back to Whitewater Draw.

The hardest part for me has always been the video editing software; for some reason, even the most basic video editing has never been very intuitive to me, and what I do learn by watching tutorials on the Internet are quickly forgotten by the time I get around to editing a video.

The video editing software I'm using is DaVinci Resolve, which is a lot simpler than my previous Adobe Premiere editing software. However, DaVinci Resolve is still full of tiny little icons that I can barely see, that have meanings I'm not completely sure of, and for some odd reason, most of them can instantly delete everything I've spent the last two hours working on.

Arabian horses seem real popular here. I think quarter horses dominate the barrel racing scene.

This van boondocking near me at least has some mud splattered on it, so it looks like he's been camping someplace other than an RV Park.

This duck at Whitewater Draw is slurping up whatever is on the bottom of the lake, and with 20,000 Sandhill Cranes living on the lake, it doesn't take a marine biologist to figure out what's on the bottom of the lake.

My experience with Hunter Jumpers is they spend far more time grooming their horse than they do riding it.... But I think that applies to most horse owners... And boat owners.
