Thank you for that link Barney. That is an interesting concept but I imagine it could have been made a lot lighter if he simply set a "Tuff Shed" on the back of his truck, I don't think I could carry that load.

OK then. Makes sense to be where you can have a little supplemental energy, both in terms events of interest and physical comfort in your home.

Were I still living in the Arctic Fox this spate of cloudy weather would be nothing more than an annoyance. But in the bronco with my limited battery bank, and not quite adequate solar panels, I could survive but I wouldn't be as comfortable as I would living in a normal home, and living in a normal home is the standard by which I judge my boondocking lifestyle. So being able to plug-in gets me back to that normal lifestyle again.

I've done extensive research and the nog is actually butter fat. It seems that there is a shortage of butter fat which is also effecting the cream cheese supply!

Well I'll be darned, I never knew that a nog was actually a thing. So eggs, butter fat, tons of sugar, and in some cases alcohol, doesn't sound like the healthiest drink I should be having for the holidays, but that's probably why it tastes soooo good.

I highly doubt that, I've heard your IQ is off the chart.... But I can't remember in what direction of the chart it was off of.

Yeah, I can still get regular cream cheese but strawberry cream cheese disappeared from the cooler in the store long ago. We did succeed in buying a pumpkin pie today, though, to go with our turkey sandwiches which is a Christmasy as we plan to get this year. (Precooked turkey breast we only have to slice and eat. Slicing the turkey and pie are our most cooking like behavior this year.)
