Sunset comes to Tombstone Arizona, and all the tourists have packed up and left
Not much is going on today, mostly resting up and relaxing from the tombstone trip. I'm camped in a part of the Pima County Fairgrounds that I've never camped at before. I've seen this area, but I didn't know there was a difference in the area I'm in now and the main camping area. But the main camping hook-up area where I've camped before is 50 amp only, so I always had to use a dog-bone 50 to 30 amp adapter for the Arctic Fox. But now I'm at the campground for 30 amp Folks, so I fit in better here than with all the giant motorhomes over at the main campground.
I do miss being at the boondocking area. And I don't doubt I will end up over there sooner or later. From the boondocking area, it's an easy walk to get to the rodeo arena and the indoor arena where they hold the barrel racing, all of which, and more, they will be doing next month.
Now that I'm settled down for the holidays, I need to figure out what I will have for Christmas dinner. It certainly won't be anything fancy, and it won't be anything that requires much preparation, since I don't have enough counter space to prepare anything, heating up something is about all I'm able to do on a kitchen counter that's not even the size of the sink in the Arctic Fox.
Maybe I haven't looked in the right place yet, but I've been to two different Walmarts and a Safeway, and I have yet to see any Eggnog for sale. Usually, this time of year, I can find several different brands of Eggnog at Walmart; so far, I haven't found any. Maybe there's a shortage of eggs, or the countries entire supply of nogs is waiting to be offloaded from a container ship somewhere.
It appears that everybody in Tombstone is either a Clanton ranch cowboy, or some kind of a peace officer, better known as law dogs
I've seen historic pictures of Doc Holliday, and this guy really looked the part. Anybody can grow a mustache but this guy was small and frail looking just like the real Doc Holliday
These guys look like they would have no problems whatsoever bringing law and order to "The town to tough to die."
This Sidewinder was going to draw down on me. I don't know how many mistakes he's made in the past but pulling a revolver on me will be the last mistake he ever makes.
