Well here it is the last day of July and I can't believe how this month has flown by. Things will start getting uncrowded real quick now. Some kids start back to school next week, and by the 2nd week of August almost all the tourist will be gone. All that means is it will be a lot easier and safer to get around. The campgrounds will empty out, parking lots will have places to park and restaurants will have tables available. Then peace and quiet will last until about the middle of September when the leaves change and then it will get crowded again for a couple of weeks.
I haven't made up my mind yet when I'm going to leave Poverty Gulch. I'm still happy here, I haven't been bored, and I've got some shooting I need to do. So I really haven't given any thought to leaving. I would consider staying here all summer if it weren't for the lack of phone service and Internet. I have to drive about 5 miles to get a phone signal which wouldn't be so bad except the roads are pretty rough and it's annoying to have to use the computer while setting in my truck. I'm going to try something different with my blog. instead of posting 4 or 5 blogs at once on the same day I'm going to put them all on my blog hosting service, which is called Weebly if you've ever wondered, and let Weebly post one every day. I hope that works and everything I've written doesn't disappear into space somewhere. I guess I'll find out the next time I get some Internet. theboondork

Glad you are having a great time at your property! Hope your new plan works & hope you can get your motorcycle fixed, surely somebody can come up with a way to lower it so you'll be more comfortable. We don't need you getting hurt while you're having so much fun, that would be a bummer.

Thank you for the encouragement Maggie, I do feel bad when I don't keep up with my blog even when it's for a good reason and not just laziness.
