Yeah the dynamics of Covid,in conjunction with inconsistencies with federal/state/county and local protocols create a fluid battle ground.

Yeah Frank, the Covid world changes quickly, and it's hard for an old geezer like me to keep up with it. And us old dogs are not noted for our new tricks, but if I want to enjoy my life I've got to find ways to be happy with whatever comes my way, and since happiness is in the mind not in the location, in less of course it's snowing, and then happiness is definitely not in my mind, I just need to look on the bright side of every event, find a little good in whatever happens, and take solace in the fact that I'm free to pack up and leave anytime I want no matter where I'm at.

Sounds like the situation is an opportunity to check out everything else in the area and not worry about missing anything at the rodeo grounds. And yes I HATE out of date Internet sites. Have fun and I will be reading the updates on the area.

Well that's a shame, Rockport seems like it has a lot of the things you like, and a lot of things you like to do. Don't tell me they're going to close the Rockport Whataburger???

Well. OK then. Glad you have a roadrunner in your view. As for me, I am looking forward to the possibility of snow here tomorrow. And I truly am. It is beautiful.

I do like roadrunners, my only complaint is they kill and eat snakes, and I also happen to like snakes.

Your analysis of snow is spot on! I am fortunate in that I don't have to go outside at all except if there's a medical emergency so I can sit here in my comfy chair enjoying the view through our big windows while singing Let it snow, let is snow, let it snow. It's a good thing my Dave is more sure footed than I am, though, since he still goes out to buy groceries.

I used to like the snow when I was younger, I looked at dealing with it as a challenge. But the older I got the less challenges I wanted and snow was something I could live without. I haven't noticed too many retirees rushing to live in the Colorado Rockies in the winter, so I assume I'm not the only old geezer with an aversion to snow.

I didn't mention that snow here lasts only two days at most. At most. Though I once did live where it lasted 4 months, but I was a renter and didn't have to shovel or anything like that.

Well that doesn't sound too bad, even I can deal with it for a couple of days. I was hoping when I became a full-timer I would never see snow again, but between getting back to Denver a little too early, and leaving a little too late, I've hit snow on the way there, while I was there, and on the way back to someplace warm. I guess with better timing this wouldn't be happening, but I'm always anxious to see my family, and hesitant to leave. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
