Today I'm just posting some street scenes I took while walking around Santa Fe yesterday. this building is right across the street from the old historic governor's palace, which by the way does not look like a palace at all it actually looks like a junky old motel that you wouldn't stay in if somebody paid you. Because of the patchwork way the city of Santa Fe was laid out there ended up being a lot of alleys and cubbyholes next to the buildings, and each one is infested with vendors selling priceless Mexican stuff or collectible Native American art. But since I already own a Mexican blanket, and I never really cared for turquoise I'm not a very good customer, and the vendors seem to sense this because they take one look at me and start hiding their merchandise.

I have been in Santa Fe three times for a day each but absolutely nothing looked familiar. Lots more tourists than the last time in about 2000.

Yeah I was rather surprised at the amount of people that were there on a normal weekday before tourist season, but it was the lack of parking that gave me the biggest problem.
