I finally got around to taking the Yamaha WR450 off the rack and getting it ready to do a little riding in the desert. I'm hoping I can get to some places where I can get some interesting pictures without risking flying over the handlebars and landing in the middle of a half-acre of Cholla cactus. I'm starting to give some thought to what I would like to do for Thanksgiving instead of my usual plan of sitting in the Arctic Fox and eating a bowl of cereal. I figure this year I'll set in the Arctic Fox and eat something different, but as yet I haven't figured out what . I'm pretty sure I will forgo the traditional 20 pound turkey and cook a smaller creature of some kind, possibly a fish or some type of crustacean. The weather at Box Wash has been almost perfect, high 50s at night and high 70s in the daytime, throw in some 12% humidity and you can't ask for better than that. And then when you figure that I'm surrounded by beautiful desert scenery and I'm living here for FREE ! I obviously have much to be thankful for theboondork |
