Clicking the pics is a lot better than being in public wearing an incredibly silly hat.
Getting the horse used to the arena.

When my eye doctor told me I need cataract surgery she also gave me a new prescription in case I decided to wait on the surgery. But, she also warned me that prescription would only correct my vision to 20/40 instead of the 20/20 I got from my last prescription a couple years ago. I have my first consultation with the eye surgeon next Friday so I'm still putting up with blurred vision in the meantime.

Well, it is kind of encouraging to know I'm not the only one that needs a cataract operation. I've read it's the most common procedure in the United States so I guess I'm in good company.

For some time now I have been putting prescription drops in my eyes every night to lessen the glaucoma part. In prep for the cataract consultation they have me putting over the counter artificial tears in my eyes 4 times a day. I do that before meals since that's the only time I can remember to do it. :)

That's good to know Linda. I wasn't sure how much preparation would be involved before they actually do anything.

I've been told they do one eye at a time two weeks apart. Since I am slow to heal they will probably schedule mine three weeks apart.

Yeah Linda, my daughter had Lasik done several years ago so she didn't have to wear glasses anymore, and they only did one eye at a time, that's certainly the safest thing to do. I can live without a lot of things.... But my eyes ain't one of them.
